Our visit to the Outdoorsman in July of 2009 was a major disappointment. The outside looks inviting, the interior proved to be filthy. The carpets had weeks worth of crumbs on them, our iced tea was tepid at best with two or three ice cubes and it was extremely warm inside without the air conditioning on and the windows closed. DO NOT DRINK OUT ...

Really unique menu - not typical of the "diners" you find in the north woods. Building was unique and comfortable. Food was REALLY good and our server was great. Food was fast and coffee kept coming. Loved the pie (took one home with us too) and the coffee mugs (got those as well). It can load up quickly (and probably unexpectedly) ...

We liked it soooo much...

We went for breakfast, back for lunch, then back again for a really lovely dinner.

The prices were as friendly as the owners and the staff.

It was some of the all time Best food we have ever eaten. The Butternut Squash soup was to die for!!

Chocolate Mousse that melts on your tongue...and more wine to choose from than I have seen anywhere in the Northwoods.

We visited here frequently for breakfast while vacationing in the area. We decided to try out the dinner one night and found it to be EXCELLENT! Highly recommend this place!
