Honest Don runs a great resort. Very family friendly and right across from the state park beach. boat docks and bonfires at night.

Have been there sevaral times in the last two years.Once with my two young nephews who greatly enjoyed fishing on the dock and hot dogs cooked over the fire pit and a couple of weekends with my wife and our small dog, Its always very clean and the grounds are extremely neat. Its close to everything Tawas has to offer and the prices are great.We are planning more visits this summer

Out riding upnorth and stumbled on to this motel that really welcomes motorcyclist. Great back yard on river. Beach right across street. Stayed in their bay view room and woke up to a stunning sunrise. Owners ride, and brought us for a great scenic cruise around area. If your looking for a clean comfortable room that won't break your wallet this is the place..
