  • Great place to stay!
    By Lori, 11/03/08
We stayed a week at Pine Rest Cabins in one of the small cabins. The cabin was just right, and the location was perfect: close to Mt.Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind Cave and Jewel Cave, and not too far of a drive to Rapid City, Deadwood, and even the Badlands and Devils Tower. We went in the off-season, so the price was very reasonable. The owners ...

  • Centrally located for tourist attractions.
    By Zeb, 09/10/08
My husband & I went here for our anniversary and stayed for 2 nights. The cabins were very easy to find as they were located right off the main highway into Hill City. The downside is that they were RIGHT off the highway, (like 25 yards off the highway), which resulted in traffic noise at night. If you're looking for some super-secluded ...

  • Charming stay at Pine Rest Cabins
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/08
We just returned from a short trip out to the Black Hills of South Dakota & stayed 3 nights at Pine Rest Cabins, just one mile south of Hill City, SD. My daughter & I found our cabin to be just what we were looking for: a little rustic, but with everything we needed: pots, pans, coffeemaker, fan, utensils, fridge, stove, & microwave ...

  • We loved the cabin.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/07
First time staying in a cabin and were pleasantly surprised. They have everything furnished including kitchen sink, wi-fi and cable TV, yet still feel like you are in a little cabin in the woods.

Self service towel window a little unique. Sweet spa with sauna and hot tub. Friendly family. Very clean.

Great location, went to Mt. Rushmore twice, Crazy Horse was awesome, good shopping and food in Hill City only a mile away. Will be back.

  • A great place to stay in the Black Hills
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/06
We had a great time, the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the location perfect for our daily trips.

We had three days and planned to visit Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Wind Cave. Found out there's more to see and do than we expected. Next time we'll plan at least 5 days and hike Harney Peak, ...

  • So easy to get to all of the Black Hills attractions
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/06
The rustic outdoorsy charm of a cabin combined with modern comforts like free wireless internet, cable TV, a hot tub make this place a great place to call home while you see the sights and enjoy the natural surroundings of the Black Hills National Forest. Affordable, clean, comfortable and easy to find.
