We stayed only one night on our way to Mount Rushmore. It was clean, but a little worn. The toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle and the faucet was difficult to turn off. The atmosphere is great and the location is excellent. Centrally located to all the fun of the Black Hills. The Dakota Cowboy restaraunt is a fun place too.

This is one of the most affordable motels I have ever stayed inn. The price was easy on my pocket book and all it did was impress me. This truly is a five star hotel for the price of a one star. As someone whom has spent a great deal of time in Custer, I can say that it doesn't get any better than this. The hotel is in the best location in Custer and the restaurant is F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. Nice staff and great ambiance will bring me back summer after summer.

The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat with alot of room to move around. The pool was small but the kids enjoyed the slide. The kids also enjoyed the playarea. Very affordable. The location is just west of the downtown which kept you away from all the traffic. If ever in Custer again, we would definitely stay here.

The people working there are very proud of there Motel,and it shows. They redefine clean! Inside and out spotless! I told the desk agent how nice and clean the place was and she beamed with pride. The service was great and it was just down the street from the Flinstones and has a restaurant right there. I stay here every time I visit South Dakota because it is a nice place to stay.
