I spent the first 3 weeks of July ‘08 at the Country Lake Resort while in town on business and can say that I was extremely pleased overall. The word "Resort" should not be in the same sentence as this place. There is no resort about it. The shower was so small I could hardly turn around in it. The towels were not changed so we had to use the same wet towels. The bed was not changed either. The only thing the maid did was to empty the trash. I guess they have a minimum 3 night stay because after 1 night you would want to leave.

We had stayed at the Country Lake many times with the previous owners, Bill and Darlene. They were great, kept a very clean motel. But when the new owner took over, [I think his name is Habib] he completely ruined the place. WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN. We miss you Bill & Darlene.
