The owner is cold, rude, and had we not been part of a larger party staying at the Burkehaven, we would have left immediately. The poor guy would do better as a prison guard. He seemed suspicious of everyone and was completely lacking in graciousness or understanding.

There are plenty of other places to stay in Sunapee, choose any of them but this one!

We are middle aged travelers. We had a very bad experience at this place.
