Chalet Leon is not a "typical" motel....nor a bed and breakfest...it's something inbetween.. Liz (the manager) is awesome...makes u feel at home! yes....the room and cabins are eclectic...but it totally adds to the atmosphere!
Liz has updated some of the cabins to add air conditioners...there is also 1. 3 firepits 2. 2 decks ...

Funky, 50's, and Ecclectic

If you are looking for a really ecclectic and funky experience right out of the 1950's, try this place. Be aware it is NOT the Holiday Inn but clean with plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Chalet Leon is the last place we'd ever want to stay again. The property looked run-down. Our rooms were tiny and smelled musty despite a dehumidifier. Although the rooms looked reasonably clean, there were cobwebs behind the small fridge, wallpaint on the sink, and the bathroom was devoid of ameneties except some soap. The "view of the ...
