They have bad food and a worse atmosphere! I've seen the kitchen area in both the restaurant and the so called banquest facility and there is dirt and grime on the floors and preparation tables. There is even bugs crawling around. I will never eat there again! Disgusting.

Ed the bouncer is the best and should get a raise and new shirt.
Was picking my son up from Boy Scout camp in Forestburg, and had to find a close place to stay for just a night. Not much to offer in/around these parts.....BUT, I found the Erie Hotel to be quite adequate and charming..room was small, but very clean. Bed was comfortable and pillows were even good! Live band was playing nice music at the outdoor ...
Whether it is broiled sea scallops or prime rib, the food here is delightful and plentiful, the ambience of an old railroad town surrounds you, and the service is without fail. Dark and cozy, plus welcoming with friendliness. Prices are moderate and doggie bags are available and necessary.
The erie is an excellent place for lunch or dinner. we are lucky to have a large selection of local eateries that are very good. the erie is amongst the best of these.

I haven't used the hotel, but eating there is a dining experience! The food is excellent and in moderate proportions. You may eat in the dark cosiness of the bar, the dining room, or out on the patio in nice weather. The service is friendly and prompt.
