Male staff person was rude and obnoxious

Our stay at the Green Gables Inn was only what I would call "fair". The room was very small and cramped, the parking was difficult and crowded, and the management person was rude and unfriendly, barking orders rather than conversing with civility.
The motel was built in 1946 and retains its charm, and has been updated. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and you can see Mt. Shasta from the parking lot.
