had marvelous time.they were verrrrry accommodating...negotiated and followed through on all their promises. room service hot and on time. have visited several times since when close by - just to eat. wait staff just a tad slow but still professional. manager was very pleasant.
will visit again - with reservations to get the suite desired.OVERALL

Pleasant and private getaway, plan to go back..I loved the fact that the castle is out in the woods by itself and doesnt seem "touristy". There are a lot of fun things to do in the area. I got married at the castle last August and loved it. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. The staff was pleasant. Loved the swimming pool and walking on the grounds. Where is my refund?The customer service here was terrible at every turn. Every exchange with staff members felt strained. Simple details, such as providing coffee, bathroom, and wine glasses for each of the registered guests in our suite, proved to be too much to ask for. very poor customer serviceThis place gives the appearance of being a great getaway. Their brochure talks about luxurious accomadations. The morning of our stay they did not have any hot water. Wonderful long weekendMy boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend at the castle. The room was very beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and the heated tile floors were perfect for keeping my little feet warm. going back againI took my 2 teen boys here last year and was very pleased with the castle. I couldn't find the trails, but the boys enjoyed the pool and the room was wonderful, I felt like a princess. Restaurant burnedI recently toured the castle grounds and got information for my upcoming wedding. For all those who don't know, the restaurant burned down in May of this year. I found it impressive that they had the entire area cleaned up in 11 days due to the fact that a wedding was booked for that time. Just thought I'd update the info on the castle.
