In years past the Bucks lake lodge was a great place for a vacation. The bar was a great hangout after a day of fishing swimming at the beach or hiking the trails.Unfortunately no longer can I say that I believe there was a change of ownership as the place has become a dump. The service is horrible and the cleanliness is sub-par. The bar is now employed by a bunch of ex-cons and druggies looking for trouble. I would stay far away from this place.

I love Buck's Lake, the lodge, the lake, the camp grounds, the bar! I have been there many times at the motel, cabin's and camped so I know what it is like. The Lodge fun. it was a nice place, but far away from town. It was a really long drive to get there but the place was decent. Its good for a person that wants to get away from everything for a a day. Its reminded me of camping.
