We booked this for the Nights Before Christmas. When we checked in there was no heat except the faux fireplace. No remote for the TV and only two bedside lamps. They went out and bought a new remote and fixed the ceiling light. By Sunday morning we were in a very cold room! The breakfast was so so...I'm sure this is a fun place, just had a ...
My husband and I stayed here for New Years Eve this yr. We had a blast. We were here 4 nights. The rooms are very cozy and very adorable.. Cathy has gone out of her way to clean up and fix up what use to be a real dump in my book. There was no way I would have stayed here when it was The President Madison. The entertainment on New Years Eve was ...

The hotel is 1000% better than the last time I was there two years ago. Very nice rooms, great view of the river, and attentive staff. I'm planning to return this weekend!

We travel on our motorcycles looking for quaint, exceptional places and we found it at the Riverboat Inn. Kathie and her staff were more than accomodating. The rooms are decorated beautifully with B&B style linens, towels and furnishings. The view from the expansive, comfortable porches overlooking the Ohio river are fantastic. Live music on ...

The Riverboat Inn is just what we had in mind for a comfortable stay and a view of the Ohio River. The expanded front deck provides for plenty of seating in a charming atmosphere. Truly friendly staff go the extra mile to treat guests like family. Attention to detail in room decor and cleaning was obvious. We're planning a return trip. ~Julie
Newly - and nicely - renovated with clean, comfortable rooms, a great riverfront view and a friendly, helpful staff. As a frequent Madison visitor, it's now at the top of my list of places to stay while there.

Absolutely Terrific

I travel all the time, and just "found" the Riverboat Inn as I was crossing the Ohio River into IN. It was absolutely one of the most delightful experiences I've had in years. Down home hospitality, warm and friendly and most reasonable. The room was quaint, extremely clean and decorated in an old fashioned way. The free glass of wine before bed was an added touch! Everyone should visit this great place!!

Thank you for making our dream a reality!

We had stayed at President Madison twice a year for 10 or 12 years. We haven't been there for 5 years, but happened to come to Clifty Falls 2 for 1 nights recently. Of course, we had to check on "our hotel" to see if it was still there. It was just what we wished we could do but couldn't afford. New windows, floors, snack bar, etc. Beautiful. We can't wait to come back "home" again this summer.
