My wife, daughter (27), and son (24) went back to W.Va for a family reunion and decided to give this place a try because of overcrowding at the family home. We read all the reviews we could find on this particular B&B and decided that the owner must have written them. Not one negative and everyone ranted about how great a cook the owner is. ...
My husband and I have gone to the James Wylie House at least once every year since 1999. It's the nicest B&B we've ever stayed in, as the house is wonderfully decorated and cheery, the town peaceful, and Monica (the owner) is a great host and cook!
We took our family of 6 there for a weekend. The little family cabin was so charming. The owner even made cookies for the kids. We felt right at home yet spoiled at the same time. I don't think there is anyone we know that doesn't know how much we loved it.

I stayed at this B&B over the 4th of July.It was like walking back into the 1800s, with all the luxuries of 2005. It is convenient to white water rafting, golfing, fishing, with hiking too. The owner is very familiar with the area, from antiques to dinning. She is glad to recomend a place geared toward your interest. Will return for another stay.

Had a wonderful experience at this charming bed and breakfast. The rooms are filled with history and charm, along with a mystique of presence, by a few long past residence. Highly referred to all.
