This little mom and pop motel is one of the best kepted secrets in Durango. All the rooms are very clean and they each have their own decor in each room. We have been staying here for years and the owners just keep making great changes. From old cedar panels in some rooms to some of the most updated they call their Siesta rooms they are all very ...

My friend had emergency surgery 2 days before his book date. The woman owner would not give him any credit for the 4 days he booked. My plans changed and I needed to leave a day early. Same thing, no credit for the 4th day. I left early anyway and I called my credit card company and not only was there a charge for the 4 days but an additional ...
The rooms are outdated but clean.. The hot tub strangely stopped working when we got there... The promised group rates were not group rates at all.. they were the standard rates and the rooms were not valued well at all.. My room in particular was ransacked by a non employee when the housekeeping staff had the room open. I am pretty sure it was ...
This place is easy to overlook, but is a quiet independently owned motel that is not the same cookie cutter chain motel. The price was excellent compared to the other motels we checked with. The people were friendly, the room was extremely clean and charmingly decorated. The room was a little small, but well designed with a small fridge, coffee ...

After my wife emailed them and they emailed back the room rates, the next day we called to book a room, and the rates had mysteriously gone up $20 per room. The email was from Marlene Haddon. I called her the next day, and she said that all the rooms had been booked the previous night. Spend your money someplace that appreciates your business.....

We stayed at Siesta motel for 2 weeks. This is an old motel with some new decor. Both the owner and the staff are very friendly and accomodating.Very clean. Relatively close to everything.

I am planning a trip to Durango very soon and wanted to ask a few questions about the motel, so I called on Sunday afternoon. 6/29/08 The lady I spoke to was extremely rude to me right from the begining. When an individual who represents a so called family owned and operated facility speaks to me the way this lady did it makes me wonder what type ...

I gave the Siesta Motel a call from Cortez and drove all the way to Durango, which is a more friendly city than unpersonal and spread out Cortez. Checked in at the Siesta Motel (easy to find) and get a small, comfy and clean room. Room had coffee maker and a small fridge but no microwave Office open late in the morning but you can let the key ...

After a bad experience in trying to get a decent motel, my wife and I settled on the Siesta Motel in Durango, CO. We were very pleased with our choice. The office personnel were very helpful. The motel was an older motel, but it was well kept up and very clean.
