Have stayed there twice, a great place to stop after a day on the road. Log cabin type style. Wide wood walkways around outside all rooms with chairs, a great place to sit and relax at the end of the day and watch the sunset on the hills. Remote and quite, even on the highway which is not well traveled. Clean, well kept and worth the money.

Great location, poor service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/08/07
Liked the location, accommodations and the price; however the two women at the front desk were not helpful. In fact, one woman was downright rude. When I walked in the front door, she was sitting on the couch reading and seemed annoyed that she had to get up to check me in. Then she said I had reserved two rooms for one night. My reservations ...
Desert Rose Inn was a great place to visit, but also a great homebase to view the entire area. Excellent service, cleanliness, and value with a wonderful view outside. Also The Twins restaurant is a great place for breakfast with an excellent shop for Navajo and Ute merchandise. Historic Bluff is a must visit.

MAGIC LOVELY PLACE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/05
We stayed in a cabin (nš3) and it was just perfect. All in wood, very cosy, very clean, very preatty and confortable. Nice veranda overlooking a nice corner of Bluff. Sitting on the veranda we could enjoy the visit of many "colibri". Besides, BLUFF is a magic and enchanting little village. What else can I say...I wish We could have spent more nights in the DESERT ROSE INN and in BLUFF. Don't miss it!!!! Monica,June 2005
