My wife an I spent a night early this week and loved the place. Agree with all the comments from Santa Barbara user. You don't really need to interact with the innkeeper as it's so well organized and equiped. When we're in the area again we hope there'll be a room available.

Like: beautiful house, rooms and grounds. lots of privacy especially in the Look Out room (only room on the second floor). walking distance to downtown. free access to internet, books, magazines and movies.

Dislike: Quality of the breakfast is not so good; seems like they went for the cheapest brand of juice, water, bake goods, etc...
