Very CleanHotel was in good order. Lady at front desk was very nice. The room was spotless everyday. The exterior appearance was slightly outdated, but the inside of the room was better than any hotel chain. I recommend this hotel for a stop at Spruce Pine, NCOVERALLServiceCleanlinessLocationValue

VERY Clean Room, Reasonable PriceMy wife and I (empty nesters) stayed here a few nights ago after the old guy at the Exxon station on the edge of town recommended it to us. The lady at the desk was very nice and allowed us to look at the room before we paid for it. We stayed in the non-smoking section and found the room to be very clean and well kept. Want to go back to High School?This converted High School is very reasonably priced; however, the rooms are small and the beds unconfortable.
