This place is beyond disgusting. The place looks and smells as if it is never cleaned. The furniture is all goodwill quality. I have a 3 year old and would not bathe her in the tub. I would only take a very quick shower. I have stayed here three times in the past 25 years and this will definately be my last. Do not recommend it to anyone.

Just returned from Carr's during our 4th of July vacation along with my parents and mother & father in-law.And when trying to find a place to accommodate 6 people i lucked up and found Carr's while seaching the net.So i booked a 2 bedroom apartment which had 3 queens and kitchen for $115.88 a night which is a killer dealer! We first went to Carr's over 50 years ago while students at UT. It is still the place to go in Gatlinburg. Quiet, friendly staff and walking distance to center of Gatlinburg. We have been back a number of times and will go again. The good things our weigh the bad. There were a few lights out around buildings, exhaust fan in bathroom out, but I will not tell you our favorite room because you will fall in love with it too.

This is a family run business. No phones, No internet, No need. This is the place that my family has chosen for the last 6 years to kick back and relax. They are extremely understanding of emergencies and are flexible in there reservations. The staff bends over backwards to take care of you. If you are driving through or looking for a cabin on the stream look no farther!

My husband and I have been going here for 25 years. The resort is in a beautiful setting. We always get a room or cottage on the creek. It is very peaceful sitting on the porch and listening to creek. There is virtually any kind of accommodation you could ask for, accomodating small or large families. my family comes to carrs about three times a year for mini vacations.we would not stay any other place.it brings back a time when life was not so hectic!
