I have been staying here, except for times when it was closed, since 1983. Recently remodeled, it is comfy and attractive. No restaurant or room service, but friendly folks--and pet friendly too (keep you pit bulls at home, please!) Nice and close to the Cosby section of the National Park, with many hiking trails and picnic areas. You really cannot go wrong staying here, unless the throngs and expense of Gatlinburg seem attractive to you.

Great location! Very pretty creek runs behind the hotel and all of the rooms have either a patio or balcony facing the creek. The manager, Kandy, is very friendly and helpful.
