Just realized I posted a review in 10/14/08 and somehow gave the rating of only one star! Opps! I meant to give it much higher-5 stars!!! I am actually packing now for our Valentine's Day Ski weekend and can't wait to leave tomorrow! Again- this is such a great place to stay at an affordable rate. The only regret is that we will have to leave on Sunday. :(

was a nice trip, we took our motorcycles with us and the three of us had a great time. we are going back in may and there will be eight on motorcycles. nice clean rooms, creek in back will let you sleep like a baby. nice people that runs stoney creek motel ,will help you in anyway thay can...looking for may 28 to come. The owners, Mandy and Larry Are the two nicest people You will ever meet. The rooms were immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, the restrooms very clean. It was my first stay at Stoney Creek and it wont be my last. I've stayed in other motels in the area, NONE compared to Stoney Creek. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Maggie Valley. Excellent value.

We really enjoyed our visit to Maggie Valley. All the rooms are creekside but having the additional balcony attached to our room was serene. Our room was well taken care of.. we will definately be back!
