The motel is clean, simple, comfortable and a bargain. The manager Mr. Jack is very accomodating. I was traveling with a mobility challenged guest and he was able to arrange for transportation to the football game. They also remember you when you return and get to know you and help you get around.

My family and I stayed at the Ole Miss Motel, and by no means is it the Hilton, but Hospitality is what its all about here.. these people are so nice and care for their customers... we had circumstances that kept us in our room an hour longer than check out time... Mr. Jack came to me, ask me if we were comfortable and told me not to worry about ...

This place used to be funky, I understand, but now it's just a very basic motel. The room was clean, but amenities barely existed--just a fridge and microwave--not even a bathroom wastebasket or clock-radio. No breakfist or room service, either; however the owners at least were pleasant. It cost us $49 and is close to the Square (downtown). Probably wouldn't recommend it.

The Ole Miss Motel is a locally owned property and the location is the best thing about it. You can't expect anything more than a clean place to sleep and a hot shower a stone's throw from the Square in Oxford for a ridiculously low price.
