I am 11 years old and my family has been coming for over 40 years, but this was my first time. The water was a little low but I had the time of my life. I swam and jumped off huge rocks into the water everyday. I had so much fun,the cabin was awsome. I loved every part of the trip except for the 6 hour car drive there and back. I will deffenitly be back.

My husband and and I travel the US,,we are fiberoptic engineers In 2005 we stayed at neals for apx 7 months....It was wonderful/ the staff is great and Maryann and her family treated us like we were family. What a beautiful area. Id give it the highest rating for everything from the store to the restaurant to the grounds and dont forget the game room says my grandson Jasper. We rented a large cabin in 2005. The cabins was rather dirty, and the mattresses were very stained. At our cabin, didn't care for the view very much. However, the restaurant and swim area are very good. It's at a good location on the river.

We had been on the Frio River for 2 days. The last day we were there, we decided to eat out Neal's was just perfect. The food was excellent, the service great and they even let us bring in our own beverage. They have an excellent view right outside the restaurant. This is a 5 star restaurant in the middle of a very small town.
