Where is everybody?We stayed at Gigi's Resort by the Beach the week after Christmas 2005. Our trip to Ft. Laud was planned last minute and our usual accommodations were full. We found Gigi's on the internet. When we arrived, the very friendly and welcoming manger greeted us and showed us to our room. The room was clean and paint was fresh. Great location, bad serviceThe location is great as it is just steps from the beach and there are plenty of restaurants and bars very near by, however I was disappointed in the service by the manager and staff. Gigi's resort is fantasticIt was steps from the beach, shops, restaurants, bars. It is the perfect place to stay--each cozy room has a theme and it is so charming. You are treated like a live-in resident and the lush trees and bushes that line the courtyard are so beautiful. it doesn't have a restaurant (who needs one when around the corner is a hopping street?) but it does provide continental creakfast.
