We enjoyed our visit so much that we went back the next day and took along another couple with us. I have put pictures together of our day at the Cider Mill and shown it to many people. Emailed pictures to many friends. Highly recommend a visit. Fun watching the kids, great hot cider and donuts. Learned alot from watching the apples being pressed. ...

Great Place, can't wait to go back!

It was great visiting my hometown again and tasting that unbelievable cider. I can't wait till they can ship their hard stuff! I will make sure to continue to check in!
Very nostalgic and educational. Delicious cider and homemade doughnuts! We lived in the area while my husband was stationed at the Groton Submarine Base and a trip to Clyde's was always on our to do list!

Go on a Weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/07
We enjoyed the mill and the cider as yum, yum, yum. If you want to see the mill in action--call ahead for hours. Usually, only running on the weekend. We were dissapointed to not be able to see the mill actually running.
This is a yearly tradition. I love the smell, the atmosphere, and the people at Clydes. It is good old fashion fun, and the cider can't be beat! (I have never tried their hard cider but they sell that too.) They also make fresh hot doughnuts, apple pie, and all kids of candy jams and treats in the old fashion store that is on the site. Great fun, don't forget your camera!

B F Clydes Cider Mill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/07
There is nothing to dislike about the cider mill. Jack and Barbara Bucklyn (Owners) are two of the most wonderful people ever placed on this earth. They are accomodating, congenial, and down to earth New Englanders who have worked hard all their lives. I have had the pleasure of knowing them and the entire family since the mid sixties. If you have a chance, go to the cider mill. It's an experience you will never forget.
We visited during October, and it was just beautiful there. The people are suprisingly friendly for the northeast and the food and drinks are even better, in fact the best! We bought several bottles of wine to give to friends and family for Christmas! Its really crowded on the weekend for the free wine tasting, but its worth it!
