Make sure you tell the guide that you want to really get wet otherwise you'll be going for a float down the big Pidgeon river without any rapids. The Perfect Amount of Adventure

Rafting in the Smokies offers a great variety of rapids. The big Pigeon trip is full of level 2-4 rapids that aren't too scary for first timers. There's even a section for swimming while heading back to the outpost. The guides are a lot of fun. Just listen up to all the safety information because it just might come in handy. And bring towels (that's the only thing they don't provide you with). Hang on and have fun!
