My wife and I visited the Alamo a couple of nights ago. We were promptly seated and given a menu. The prices were shocking. A hamburger was $13.99, a chicken sandwich was $16.99. Now I am not opposed to paying for a quality meal but come on fourteen bucks for a burger? We left before ordering. After reading the previous reviews it appears we made the correct decision!

We decided to try the Alamo after seeing where it was alleged voted #1 for the best steak. I don't know who voted but one thing is for sure I didn't.
