I live near the cascades...They are actually in Pembroke VA which is a small town in Giles County VA. Not Blacksburg VA which is in Montgomery County about 30 minutes west (if you know where Virginia Tech is you know where Blacksburg is) . Great Nature ExperienceWhat a beautiful walk though the woods. My friends and I would go several times a year as a break from studies at Virginia Tech. We go every summer!We have to small boys who love this hike. It is especially nice to hike this on a hot day. Most of the hike is shaded and you can play in the water at the top of the hike.
