I've been going to St. Maarten's since the days when Jim was the voice of "Sam the Shark" on radio commercials. Double-wings nights on Tuesday were absolute musts in my college days. Perpetually friendly people and good specials.
I have been going here since 1986 (my mug number is less than 1). I try to visit during games and 3-4 more times a year (coming from Richmond). Jim and his staff always remember me whch is a nice feeling. The place prides itself on friendly and attentive service. However, I have never been disappointed in the food (or drink). The prices are alsways reasonable but I wish they were still open on Sundays for brunch!
I have been going to St Maartens since 1994. But since I have been in the Military, I do not visit quite as much. But what is so magical about St Maartens it doesn't matter how long you have been away, whenever you go back it is like comming home. The food and atomsphere is always awesome.
