It was a wonderful! The hotel itself was very nice and location was perfect for us. We had a very enjoyable time. We were put in the upstairs rooms in the back of the property & the only drawback was the doors were very close so it was kind of noisy when the other occupants were coming and going.

Thought that having a place near the beach was better than our regular place... Nope.
Not for the headaches and the price.
I called for help on the plumbing and was told to wait til morning. Next day it flooded again. Kinda messes up your times to get ready so you can enjoy why you went to Monterey in the first place. Won't go back.

Our experience here was awful. The room smelled badly of mildew. The beds were so uncomfortable that my family was not able to sleep and the added noise of snoring neighbors, which we could hear through the walls, didn't help. It was a terrible experience.

overall our stay was nice. can't beat pacific grove and their atmosphere, but our room could use a little cheering up and although they had just painted it--the room still needed updating in the plumbing and was a bit cramped for my taste.
