My stay at the W was excellent. Like the W Chain, it has all the wonderful amenities, replete with a sense of chic and elan. The staff is very attentive and engaged to the needs of the guests. The hotel did an excellent job in personalizing its service to my requirements. I would definitely return to the hotel on my next trip to San Diego.

Very hip. Right downtown. Lots of cool people and Love the roof pool! Great place for tourists and a special place to spend a weekend away for locals.

We loved the trendiness of this hotel - it is such a hot spot to hang out! The staff is very friendly and accomodating and went out of their way to make our stay there great!

The W is always nice for a drink in the evening. The crowd is stylish, but sometimes trashy people end up inside. BTW, the drinks are pricey.

It is a great place to stay, room was cool and clean with a very fun look and a great bar with an atmosphere that was the best San Diego has with the best people too.

This is a GREAT place to be in SD. You don't even need to leave b/c there's so much action at the W with the living room and the Beach bar. But if you do the location is prime, right next to the Gaslamp.

Location, location, location. This is a top notch "W" Hotel. Service was out of this world. Beds and room layout were perfect.
