    Nice location, Waimea is cool and beautiful unlike the other parts of the Big Island. The Management if terrible at best hostile at other times. Traveler beware.

    Big rooms and peaceful. Grounds going wild and really no service other than check in and check out. Appears owner milking property until it can be divided up and sold.

    The Jacaranda Inn was the house Lawrence Rockefeller lived in when he was overseeing the building of the Mauna Kea Resort. It is a very interesting place and translates well into a B&B. The rooms are large and very interesting, each one is unique. The bathrooms are BIG, ours had shower with stadium seating. Obviously, Larry entertained the very ...
