We needed a room for one night while visiting our son at Fort Gordon. The room was roomy and clean, with the beds more comfortable than most hotels. Our only disappointment was with the breakfast - the eggs were not at all appealing - looked like yellow and white hockey pucks and obviously just reheats from a bulk shipment. No waffles. Tired looking fruit salad. This could easily be remedied to come up to the other standards displayed here.
I found this to be a pretty nice hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room I had -- a studio suite-- was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. I had no problem with the speed of the internet connection and I used the wired connection instead of the wireless. The only problem I had was the limited ...
Outside of Augusta. A decent Hampton Inn for an overnight stay, if you don't need a good internet connection. Slow connection, even with the direct CAT 5 connection to the wall.
Fast food joints nearby. It is not a pedestrian area. Small indoor pool.

The hotel is extremely nice, VERY clean, and safe. We were surprised since most of the hotels here in Augusta are dirty and not safe. The rooms and bathroom was clean and nice and neat.
