We live only an hour away and travel to Myrtle Beach quite often. We have stayed at the Hilton, Anderson Beach club, and the Dunes Village, and loved them all. We will never stay at this Sheraton again. The hotel was dirty and the hallway carpet was black and had a bad smell. The Pool area was dirty and the hottub was dirty also. I knew it ...
We had a great vacation! The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our rooms were very clean & well stocked. My father had an accident & was in the hospital while on our vacation. I called the manager-Logan- & explained he was going to have emergency surgery and our whole family was staying there & supposed to check out friday ...

We loved it!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/08
My husband and I just got back from Myrtle Beach, and we stayed here for two nights. We are Starwood Preferred Guests, and so immediately when we arrived, we were upgraded to the ninth floor with an ocean view, no charge!! We were also not charged for parking for the two nights we were there! The hotel is not on the beach, but it is close enough to ...
We just came to Myrtle Beach for a 4 day stay, and if we vacation here again The Sheraton will not be the place we stay. First we paid $139 per night, different than the 109 advertised. We were initially checked into the wrong room, and had to switch. We asked for menus of local restaurants, and were told they would be brought up to the room. ...

Not on the beach!!! Location is not for beachgoers!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/07
This hotel is not on the beach. If you see a four star hotel offering on hotwire or such sites, this is the hotel. This hotel should be classified as three star.
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

Pet taken from room without owner's permission or knowledge
In November 2006 I traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC and stayed at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Hotel and Convention Center on the Club Floor. My room was entered without my permission or knowledge and to my horror my dachshund was removed to the security area. I was gone from the room for no longer than 30 minutes at 6:00 p.m.
I give this hotel 10 Stars... I would recomend it to all of my closest friends....
It's been three years since I stayed here. But my time spent here was wonderful. The Service was amazing, the staff excellent, and never once did I have a problem with and of the hotel staff.
