Actually, I was somewhat surprise by the very small rooms. It was my very first time in New York city. The hotel people were great. The also have a bar next to the main lobby. The barmaid is a very nice person aswell.. I was there with my cousin and Im going back in two weeks to the same Hotel 41 with my girlfriend if God allows me.

We stayed at Hotel 41 in June 08. The rooms, although clean, were really only suitable for single occuopancy - too small.

The hotel is really let down by it's reception and Bar/Dining areas - dull & dirty.

The breakfast is adequate although we didn't eat there after we saw a cockroache in the dining area.

After reading the reviews I decided to try Hotel 41. I was pleasantly surprised..the staff was extremely friendly, location outstanding, clean, yes rooms are small. We got one with a window--that helped. For one night stay in midtown Manhatten..can't beat it...

I stayed at Hotel 41 at Times Square for 5 days and luved it!!!! Yes the rooms are small, but everything else is 100% great!! Very clean, super nice front desk girls(always smiling), quiet, SAFE, cold working air, 2 seconds from Times Square & Aveda bath products!!!!! I have to go to NY again in Aug and I will be at Hotel 41!!! :)

Left NY with a smile on our face. The location was great, the room was spotless and quiet. The staff was friendly and very helpful. You pay 20 dollars more than what the shabby 2 stars hotels in this area charge and in return you get a completely different experience.

I just stayed for three nights at Hotel 41. I didn't know what to expect and I found it to be an enjoyable place to stay. The service was tremendous and the free continental breakfast was a nice touch. The rooms were quite small and basic but had everything I needed. Aveda bath products, hairdryer, internet access, DVD/CD player, refrigerator, ...

I found Hotel 41 as I was headed to see Rent at the Nederlander Theater and stopped in for a drink before the show. What a nice surprise! A beautiful bar with top notch service. I decided to stay at Hotel 41 on my next visit to NY and found the rooms to be a bit small, but very well appointed. Lots of details in the room and the bathroom, ...

We picked this hotel for our recent trip to New York based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Wonderful location in Times Square. The room was small but all that we needed and very clean. Can not say enough about the staff, friendly, helpful and just plain nice. Whenever we are in New York from now on this is our address.

We loved this hotel! I booked the reservation for a standard room weeks in advance & upon arrival we were told we were upgraded to the Penthouse Suite!!! The suite was beautiful & comfortable. We felt like we were celebrities - we only had 2 regrets, that it was winter & we couldn't use the outdoor deck area, and that we were only there for 1 night. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone - and we are planning a return trip soon!
