It is away from everything but still close enough to be convenient. It is a nice getaway just by yourself or with a loved one. I would recommend going to anyong.

Beautiful town, and the hotel is pretty, but the service is very bad. Much better when we first stayed, has gone down hill from there.
Club room extra charge is a joke as they don;t even perform the service w/o a call reminding them. They have way to much changeover in management it seems as there is a different one everytime we stay.

recommend going htere to anyone who wants a day of pampering

We stayed at the Finger Lakes Lodge (associated with and accross the street from Mirbeau) for a wedding at Mirbeau and the bathroom smelled like sulfur the whole time. We had to have a maintenance guy coming in and out while we were trying to get ready (he was nice). They didn't even apologize or ask us about it when we left, instead they were snobby.
