The cobbled streets and European architecture of the Village at Squaw Valley were very inviting. The facilities and location is great. However because it is located right next to the squaw valley ski resort parking lot and restaurants, the noise every night from people and snow clearing equipment is unbearable!! I think I will not stay here again because I didn't sleep a single night on my vacation.
Finally, a little bit of a ski village for Tahoe area skiing. Tahoe has always had great skiing, but until now it has lacked a ski town atmosphere. Squaw is finally getting there with this village. The condos are very nice and the location is incredible. They are right at the base of the mountain and have shops and restaurants right there. We love it.
