DO NOT allow the hotel to book a water taxi from the airport to the hotel. Our flight was 2 hours late; and it cost us $115 euro in a missed taxi fee. The taxi was not there for us, despite our efforts, and the hotel insisted we pay the fare at checkout. We ended up booking a water taxi in the airport for $95 euro. And of course, at check out ...

We only stayed one night at the hotel Anitco Doge but the room and service were excellent. The front desk was extremely helpful with directions etc. They also provided a free shuttle over to Murano so we could tour the glass factories. It was the end our Italy trip and a perfect way to end the trip.
