The room was great, as well as the service and price. Convenient to everywhere in downtown. Plan to go back at least once every couple of months for a relaxing getaway. The jacuzzi tubs are wonderful and come with an awesome spa kit. Loved this place.

the website for this hotel was very misleading until 2 days after I was there and then they changed their website after I mentioned that the website was not how the hotel truly is. I would not recommend this even being a fair hotel, everything was very dirty and just not a safe feeling place to be. yahoo user in nc

The owners and staff were every helpful and friendly. Furniture was old but everything was clean.Will go back again.They are trying to remodle and have camras to watch the parking lot.

A nice alternative to the overpriced hotels in the area. The facilities are suitable and the prices are quite reasonable.

I WILL STAY IN ASCOT INN. BECAUSE NICE , CLEAN, SAFE, CENTRALLY LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN, EVERY THNING WHAT U NEED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. RECENTLY I SEE LOT OF CHANGE & UPGRADE.
I AM STAYING AT ASCOT INN SINCE LAST 4 - 5 YEARS, BUT SINCE LAST
2 - 3 YEARS UNDER NEW-MANGEMENT LOT OF CHANGE DONE.
I WILL SAY THIS MOTEL CHANGE A LOT LOT THAN FEW YEARS BACK

I really feel that the website for this place is an example of false advertising at its worst. The rooms are like the pictures if you add 30 years to the way they look online and also add the smell of mold and cigarette smoke. There were hairs all over the bathroom and the jacuzzi was dirty. Also, there were people running in and out of rooms all night long. I would advise others to avoid this place.

IWOULD NEVER TELL ANYONE TO STAY THERE. IT HAS NOT CHANGED AS MUCH AS PEOPLE THINK I WAS APPROCHED BY ASKING FOR CHANGE AS WELLOTHER THINGS I WILL NOT SAY.
