    This cheshire town sprawling across the river Mersey has much too offer us, both in the town itself, and in the boroughs that are its dominion.

    Take a stroll round the old town and the new development in the town centre and you will appreciate what I mean. A magnificent 19th century Market Hall lies next to Medieval shops by St Mary Church ...
