This city is FABULOUS. It dates back over 2,000 years ago with much of the Roman walls, gates, wells accessible to tourist. We stayed right on Steep Hill just below Castle Square and we could not have asked for a better location. We had the Magnificant Lincoln Cathedral on one side and Lincoln Castle on the other.
