Would love to go back?We stopped to see the abby and was escorted by one of the locals. He told us all about the abby and then told us to go across the street and see the mural that was in the community-libary room. This was some time ago and I was wondering if the mural ever was finish. Do you ever have pictures and put them online of the mural. I remember the jestors. Would love to see it.

Going back next summerWe liked the chance to look around shops of character and originality. Hexham has an excellent choice of restaurants ranging from Italian, French, Indian etc. The immediate country side around the town is steaped in history, very beautiful and makes a wonderful back drop to the town itself. Agreat place to stay, and if you feel you want something abit more towny, Newcastle is a short drive or even shorter train journey.OVERALL
