Its great to see this city thrive. Its like a more modern New York city with the feel of LA mixed in. Yes, some of the people are rude but almost every American I ever met was rude! I was welcomed and would enjoy going back many times again. It would take weeks to see all that Dubai has to offer, they are constantly evolving.

Just returned 26/9/09. One big overheated concrete jungle filled to flowing with people, cars, construction and dust. Got a bit confused with the aggressive selling pitch in the Dubai and Emerites Malls but I had no idea if I was seeing the Middle East or another culture, I still haven't worked it out.
