St John has incredible, beautiful and uncrowded beaches that are bordered by trees and nature. Warm, clear gentle waters quietly roll to shore and the most difficult thing about it is getting out of the water. Wonderful snorkling and plenty of colorful fish, and you might even see a turtle, of which there are many. The water is safe and gentle ...

Don't rent from Hertz on St John
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/28/06
We called Hertz on St John upon arrival with confirmation number in hand. They did not honor our reservation and did not have a car for us. Hertz in St. Thomas as well as Hertz U.S. customer service verified our reservation. During our visit on St. John, we met four other parties who had the same experience with Hertz on St. John. In speaking ...

BEST ISLAND!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/06
St. John is the best island in the whole Carribean! It has amazing snorkeling and diving. It has a laid back feel to it and is very safe. The water is crystal blue and the sand is soft and white! There is a beach for eaveryone (crowded, solitude, snorkeling, swimming, relaxing...) . St John is a MUST when picking a vacation spot.
I have read a few reviews on here saying that St. John is expensive. I guess I'm not sure what people consider expensive, but we got our whole trip including airline tickets, villa rental, jeep rental and food for under $3000. I thought this was pretty affordable considering the other options out there. Many all-inclusive packages we had been ...
Pros: Crystal clear water, sunny weather, great hotels Cons: Slightly on the expensive side
One of the best things about USVI is the complete holiday mood that it generates in your system. The moment you get out of your plane, you smell an aroma of natural vegetation.
It is an excellent place to spend a few weeks of vacation.
The atmosphere was truly relaxed. Beaches, mountains, scenery, all without the hustle and crowds of the other Virgin Islands. You can still get off the ferry at night and feel safe. Nice restaurants (Duffy's Love Shack!)and quaint shops. If only we could move back..........
There is nothing to dislike about the Virgin Islands. It is truly paradise on earth. Snorkling there literally took my breath away the first time I entered the water. I had never seen such a display of colorful reefs and beautiful, colorful assortments of fish. It was truly a breathtaking experience. I would recommend anybody take their vacation in the Virgin Islands vice any other place on the planet.
This is the MOST beautiful beach we have ever seen. The snorkling for 1st timers and kids is out of this world. I just wish we would have had more time there.

Natural Splendor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/05
Incredible natural beauty, with most of the island and reefs protected as national parks. World-renowned white sand beaches, verdant mountains, and fantastic snorkelling, with abundant fringing reefs within yards of almost any beach. We swim with Hawksbill sea turtles and marvelled over diverse reefs with multitudes of gorgeous corals and fishes, ...
