Four times each year the people of St. Croix take to the streets of Christiansted for Jump Up, a Caribbean flavored festival showcasing music, art, food and dancing. The town is packed with revelers on the oceanfront boardwalk and throughout the narrow, 18th century Danish streets as native and tourist alike "jump up" and celebrate all ...
Chef Sean Skerrette is a culinary genius. The food at Bacchus was delicious. St.Croix is beautiful at any time of the year. However the foods that I experienced were very interesting and then I went to Bacchus where I experienced seafood delight,I asked about the chef and he came out to meet us. I now recommend Bacchus Restaurant to anyone that I know that will be visiting St.Croix and I tell them to ask about Chef Sean.

The USAs Best Kept Secret
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/07
We stayed at the Carambola for the week and absolutely feel in love with the place. Took a float plane to St. Thomas for a day and could not wait to get back to our island. If you want perfect beaches, the most laid back (limen) atmoshere and beautiful sunsets/sunrises, this is the place. Best thing is I get to go back next year!

This place is like no other! The water is clear and the people all have nice easy going attitudes, things like jewelry and liquor are really cheap too. Christiansted is full of history. And if you want to be in Fredricksted visit the Whim plantation. I loved it and can't wait to go back!

I love it. I love everything about it. The culture the history. Especially their Christmas Carnival. I visited on my Christmas break and was there until January. How about a hot Christmas, .... anyone? It is sooo beautiful. THe beaches are exactly sandy white.

Beautiful St. Croix
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
We loved the slow, easy pace of St. Croix. Christiansted was a lovely town to walk around leisurely for shopping or sightseeing. We especially liked the side trip we made to beautiful Buck Island. It was a trip we must make again.
