Sanliurfa simply reeks with atmosphere. It is as if you were transported back 100 years or more. Areas of the city contain craftsman and worker using techniques rarely seen today. The residents here are not overrun with Western tourist like Turkey's coastline and life seems unchanged and unaffected by the West. Yet there are still nice hotels, good food and a wondeful experinece. I would go back in a heartbeat!
