I hated the fact that i felt like anybody would hunt me for the money. They would literally touch me on the street with various offerts just to get my money and i felt the bartenders or the staff in the hotel would be nice to you with one eye and with the other would simply search for ur wallet. The excursions saved us a little bit of driving mad ...
I lived there for 5 years, married my Husband there, had my kids there & now that I live in Northern Canada, I miss it every day. Great place, great friends, a place I call home.

A Nightlife City
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/06
Bodrum is surely one of the cities that never sleeps; it has a very active nightlife and many clubs and bars to visit, including the world famous Halikarnas, the second largest open air disco in Europe. The Halikarnas has room for up to 5000 people, and is definetly the place to go on Saturdays, when the foam party takes place.
