We have just returned from Sousse, and i can quite honestly say that we have never met people so polite courtious, and freindly, The hotel was superb, the staff exellent, The medina what a place incredible, the whole city absolutely brilliant
Its a great place to spend a few days , we went in Early February and the weather was good The people are friendly , and you soon get used to the pushy salesmen in the medina . Beach and promenades great for a stroll in the evening and lots of history to explore
it is excellent and for ladies on their own the waiters cannot do enough for them and in maracana night club plenty of local boys to satisfy them go there and you will never regret it
I have traveled to Sousse for the past 17 years and also lived and worked there for a year. My favourite place in the City is the Medina, (old town)
So much to see and discover with a great mystiuqe feeling of 1001 nights. I normaly stay in a great self catering apartment in the heart of the medin ...

Sousse is a beautiful, layered city. Though the main attraction appears to be its spotless, sandy beaches, take the time to go into the center of the city. The walled Medina is charming, with towers and medieval walls, small museums and stores. There is also a bird garden-- a very nice restful spot for a picnic.
