hotel terrible food and drink bad in hotel golf residence rated 3 stars not in a million years would it get 1 star appaling staff no organisation,two much hassle off locals, mugging in broad daylight outside supermarket with woman in wheelchair bedrooms a joke have to pay for entertainment in own hotel no facilities in rooms

I went to this hotel October 2008, and really enjoyed it. The weather was great most days, but rained a few. There were quite a few shopping centres within walking distance of the hotel, and the nearest port, Port El Kantaoui, is also within walking distance, and was it was lovely walking along the beach getting there. The Marhaba Palace is in the ideal location, 5 minutes from the Port and right on the sandy beach.
BUT, the hotel itself is the worse I'v ever been in. Here are some of the reasons:

1) Cockroaches in the room and bathroom, some 3 inches long
2) Really tired looking and old furniture and decor
3) Staff who are ignorant and arrogant
4) ...

My husband and me needed a good break,and a cheap holiday,so we decided to go to Tinisia.We stayed at Port El Kantoui.Had great time,and a week we surely dont want to forget.We went on a pirate trip,chartage land was faboulous,Port el Kantoui a dream,Camels(a bit smelly)but had real fun,quad bikes we recommend them.Than we shopped alot.Great things ...
