Don't go there, beaches are filthy and dirty, city is crappy and not safe at all, food is not too bad, but in general I wouldn't advise anybody to go there

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/06

  • I loved it!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/06
I absolutely enjoyed my 2 weeks in Trinidad & Tobago. I spent time shopping, swimming, snorkeling, and spending time with my family. I was born there and have lived in the U.S.A. since I was 7 yrs. old. I was very comfortable and felt safe during my visit. The issues with safety are as with any place you visit. Don't make yourself stand out ...

Trinidad and Tobago are the southern most islands in the Caribbean archipelago. They are islands blessed by the sun with favourable climate year round.Unlike many islands the exchange rate is quite favourable for tourists while still maintaining its basic value,e.g 1US$=$6.30TT,1CAN$=$5.00TT.
It it wise to covert all neccessary funds into TT ...
