Sitting outside at Cafe Reef, looking out onto the water with little islands in our view we had the yummiest curries in all of Nukualofa. Drank good cold local beer (Ikale) which isnt half bad and had a good chat with a man named Trevor who really makes half the atmosphere there. Its not right in town but its where the island resort ferries head off from so its a great place to be while your waiting.

I loved how traditional it was. I loved all of the wildlife around the island. Great place to swim and sail.

Just as Captian Cook named these islands, "the freindly" islands is true. The best way to enjoy the Tongan culture is to live amongst the locals.
